Sure looks like the ME66/K6P combination, not worth even close to the $1100 claimed. Specifications and physical dimensions listed are exactly what Senn publishes for the ME66. B&H sell that combo brand new with all manufacturers warranties, etc, for $499.

And the most important thing that nobody has told you is that you don't want that mic anyway. It is singularly uninspiring, not a great mic. I know because I bought one decades ago when it was introduced.

The k6p (not kp6) module doesn't even allow battery use anyway... so it's extra pointless...

Ill agree with that 100%. ME66 really sounds like crap generally. Its ok but it just screams armature. If you want a cheap shotgun option look at the Rode NTG-2 and steer clear of the ME66 for your production's sake.
