What light to go with existing LEDs?

I currently have two ikan ID508 LED panels which I use with my C100. I was looking for a third light to act as a key light next to the LED panels. What I have in mind at the moment is an Arri 300 or 650 plus fresnel light but I am not sure how suitable it would be alongside the LEDs.

My current line of thinking is that with the Arri as a key light, it will get me the soft light and nice skin tones that I want and the LEDs do their job as fill and rim lights.

Does that kind of setup work? Any other lights I should look into instead?

If you are looking at a tungsten, get an arrilight 1k open face with a chimera. Great softlight.

A fresnel is a waste for a softbox. You want a huge blast of light for it, not a focused beam hat a fresnel provides.

Yep. Focusing the beam defeats the purpose of the softbox.

I suggest a KinoFlo Diva 401 for a soft, affordable, key light.
