I am considering purchasing some LED fixtures to replace my aging totas and omni lights. I don't know a lot about the LED fixtures, but I would like some recomendations from people who have them. Thanks much.

Them totas and omni lights you have, I assume they are with 500W halogens in them. That roughly equates to 8500 lumens intensity at 3 feet from a white surface. I have used the tota myself and it is bright. however a LED equivalent must not only be equally bright, but more importantly have the same beam spread and color temp. as well sine you did mention to replace. Once you start putting gels and diffusers on LED's, the output drops quite a bit. Check out the Litepanels one by one (1X1) but keep in mind that they are not cheap as high output LEDS go. Make sure you read the led photometric specs properly as lots of led lights out there only let you know the power consumed and the light bulb equivalent value and keep the true lumen value a mystery. Also keep in mind that fc or foot candels are another unit of measure. The normal is in lumens or lux at 3 feet distance. Lumens can be easily converted to FC by multiplying the lumen value by .092. Also a rough rule of thumb is that a regular 100 watt household incandescent frosted white bulb is about 1750 lumens or 161 fc.
