What kind of problems occur from using the Letus35 without rails?

I have a Letus 35, it's awesome. But I know it's not a great idea to use it without rails. What could happen if I use it without rails? Long term, short term? Etc.

I'm using the LetusFE and am building a rod support, because I think it's too much weight for the threats to hold on a long term. Also, the adapter may twist if you're unable to screw it on all the way (which is the case with mine).
