That's why you charge a 10% retainer fee, and 33% payments of the remaining balance in 3 stages... You should see 2/3rds of your payment before you deliver a finished product. 33% after wrapping the shoot, 33% on a locked rough cut, and 33% on delivery.

They don't pay after shooting wraps... they don't get it edited...
