What is with the "Superman is gay" angle

This thread was not about Singer's sexuality.

It's more about the media machine and why "it" is taking a gay stab at, of all things, Superman based on the director's sexual orientation.

Just a side note; X-men three was way gay WITHOUT Singer.
 
It's really brilliant marketing.

Look how long this thread is already. All talking about superman in one way or another.

Bowie did the same in the 70's and it still works today.

yeah but singer is really gay i just love the fact people associate superman that way... I still have my doubts about the movie.... it could be the biggest flop ever.

Bowie was a little more wide open, don't you think?
I don't really see Singer "Bowieing out" through his films.

If this kind of thing is done Bowie style, then that's cool, but that isn't how it seems.
It seem a little more....um...sh#tty.
 
Hell, I always thought Batman and Robin were gay, especially from the old t.v. show. Now, Superman he's a man's man the kinda man you just wanna.... (fill in the blank).
