What is Vincent Laforet going to announce on his blog?

He's got me curious with his past couple of posts at his blog: http://blog.vincentlaforet.com/

Says it will be pretty revolutionary and references what the 5D2 did for video, but says this time it's not a camera. Anyone know what he's going to announce? Thoughts?
 
No idea what it might be but I'm open to welcoming any revolutionary "device". Hope it's not just hyperbole though - teaser announcements can sometimes be. (No offence intended to Mr. Laforet).
 
A robot production assistant that doubles as a waterproof, self-propelled all-terrain carrying case?
 
The last time he said something like this, I was extremely disappointed at what it was (some sort of camera control device I haven't seen since)
 
here is the thing. here is what it does. here is what it costs.

but i guess that would take all the pretentiousness out of making the announcement.
 
^^^^^Lol. When someone says something the way LaForet is saying it...there is almost nothing it could be that will meet expectations, esp if it's not a camera.
What are the other things it could be:
1. A recorder
2. A lens
3. Software
4. Another gizmo attachment thingy
None of those things will "change the game" the way cameras do. Cameras have always been the meter mover: the DVX, the HVX, The XHA1, the RED, the Alexa, the 5D, the GH series, the AF100, the Canon C series, Sony's F series. The rest falls under, hey that's a cool thing I can get use out of with X camera.
 
My guess is that it's a cheaper version of the Steadicam Tango. I'm going with either that or the gyroscope thing people are talking about.
 
My guess is an SDI recorder that can simulate high speed over crank. Im joking of course, its just that I use a C300.
