Hey guys!
What is the minimum length of a slider for interviews? I would like to make some company, small business interviews and I would like to add parallax motion effects. I would like to keep it portable, as well. Any suggestions?

That's easy to test without one - get your camera and stage the widest angle interview framing you want to use the slider on. Then look at the shot and move it as much as you want for the sake of parallax. (In other words, you can preview the effect without a slider.) Measure the distance you chose to move. And then you'll need to add a margin of 6" (give or take) to either end so you don't bump them at the end of the move. And then make sure you're judging the slider you purchase by the travel distance it allows (which is the distance the camera actually moves: the full track length minus the length of the slider carriage)

The thing is - if you only use the slider with a telephoto lens, you can experience a parallax effect with a much shorter movement than you would with a wide-angle
