What is the min. FCP version to capture a live stream

If I'm running my signal straight to a laptop for recording in the field (no cards or firestore), is there a minimum version of Final Cut I need to support the 780i/24P data capture. Will 4.5 work or do I need a larger version?

I think 4.5 will work. I know 5 will

It has worked for me with no trouble once all the settings are in order.

4.5 should work for firewire capture.
