What is a good xmas gift for an Editor?

[MikeWilkinson]

I want to get a mentor of mine a gift for the holidays, and am looking for some suggestions.

About him;

Been editing for almost 30 years, started on Avid and is an Avid and Apple Trainer
Runs Post-production Conferences
Curriculum Director at a Broadcasting School
Does some production work on the side
Likes casinos and beer

[ZazaCast]

Anything that has nothing to do with editing!

A membership to a good "beer of the month" club... it's always worked for me.
Happy Holidaze.

I second that Also, anything that get's him out from behind a computer screen.
Perhaps a night out on the town?

Coincidentally there is a "World BeerTour" beer tasting at the Ann Arbor Brewing
company bar & eatery.

Cheers,

A friend of mine who's an editor got an animatronic monkey head that's remote controlled as a gift from a client a few years ago and still gets a kick out of it.

I have been a couple of those actually... they are indeed a treat.

[Zak Forsman]

does he bay hop a lot? A nice big fat jump drive is very useful for moving projects, bringing bits of media, graphics, etc.

[Jim Brennan]

More time.

Beer and Prozac.

[David G. Smith]

Ok, first off, if he has been editing for 30 years, he did not START on an Avid!! Just wanted to get that out there.

Now, how about this:
