I'd love to see a high quality (better that Digital Cinema Desktop) realtime HD playback from the timeline that can be outputed to DVI (or the HD SDI I/O that the G6 will have.:thumbsup
to an external HD monitor. It would have to be good enough for CC and critical monitoring.
A feature like this (especially built in HDSDI) would shoot Apple to the top of the tree in terms of HD editing. It would be funny if it was only supported in FCP and not Avid, that could really hit Avid's sales.
