Hey, I hope this is the right area to post this lol.

The end of May I get my DVX100.

I'm also getting the 16:9 lens with it.
I'll also be getting a lighting kit.

I've been filming for a while now, but now I'd like it to have the film-look, rather then video. I've read some of the topics about it, and gained a bunch of more info from them.

What do you guys think i need? And where can i get it? I guess as far as filters, lenses, lighting, etc. is concerned. The whole nine yards. I know some of this is posted already, but I figured it would help if it was all bunched together in one topic. Thanks!

hey thats cool! how did you do all of that compositing in AE? is that Cher in there? good luck with the music video though!.. :-*

well, its not about looking through all the posts..youll find plenty of answers in just a few of them. as much as it is asking a hardware or accessory related questions in the hardware section, and lighting questions in the lighting section, and technical issues n the technical, and so on.. it was just that your question, and post in general had nothing to do with cinematograpphy, and if people take the time to answer, then it should be somwhere where other people can easily look through the labled sections to get info on what they are looking for. the moderators could always move it, but ... they shouldnt have to. :) its like putting library books on the shelves where they dont go.. then nobody can find the info.
