I just opened FCP to touch up some title work and my project opened up as a Self contained Movie File! It opened up in its own little window! I wasn't ready to save it as this file yet. I just pulled it up last night to show a friend my work and I know for certain that I clicked save after fooling with it. I did NOT export it out of FCP. I tried to bring up my Autosaves but for some reason its not showing my most recent saves. The last one it shows is June 12th and I just saved the thing yesterday! Now I did save it as a reference file so I could burn a DVD a few weeks ago, but even that file is not showing up on my HD! What the heck is going on? I've tried everything. I don't know where my project is. As of yesterday everything was still on the timeline and my browser was full of clips. Now its all cleared out like I am starting a new project. Any suggestions or ideas what caused or is causing this to happen? All I needed to do was to put an outline around some letters! Then I was GOING to save it as a SCF! Now I can't even do that.
I also tried RESTORE PROJECT but that doesn't work. No one uses this computer except me so I don't know what's going on.
