What gear to buy next?

Looking to spend between 400-700 on something to add to my gear list and was trying to decide between a few options. Anyone have experience or other recommendations with:

1. Edelkrone Slider v2 (medium) -

2. The Rode NTG-3 (I have the ntg-1 so don't know if the price is worth upgrading)
3. Portable Jib -

4. The Ice Light -

How about listing what gear you already have so we can all see what gaps you need to fill. For instance, what audio recorder, mixer, etc. are you using with the NTG-1? Do you have a good boom-pole, cases, a hypercardioid, etc.?

And, BTW, please use a font color that's easier to read!!!!!!!!!!

for cameras: Panasonic gh3 and a Panasonic gh4

stabilization: Manfrotto tripod, pr-1 shoulder rig, flycam nano

Audio: NTG-1 with Tascam DR-40, Rode Videomic for on the fly. Zoom h1 with oscar sound tech lav mic.

Lights: 4 tungsten britek lights. 3 pairs of softboxes and 4 barn doors when needed. 2 are 300/600w and 2 are 300w lights. Also 4 fluorescent softbox lights for video blog use. (these are all bulky so its still hard to travel with either light kit.) I considered 3 apurture amaron AL 538s LED lights but hated the color the the past LED lights ive used. especially these cheaper ones.

lenses: 12-35 panny lens, 25mm 1.4, 45mm olympus, 75mm olympus.

I dont film a lot of high end production videos, normally travel and film cheaper video blogs or patient stories as a one man band.

Watched your stuff. Maybe the ice light could be beneficial in set up / break down time + weight of gear needed for the job. I can see the benefit there.

Slider - add some movement / interest to your interviews - though I like static interviews as well, depends on material.

What model tripod is your manfrotto? I might be saving more beans for something a little better depending on how you answer that.

I never 'look to spend'

I just get infuriated by not being able to do something and the spend to sort that out..

What infuriates you while shooting?

I agree with the slider as a bonus to add some camera movement. Otherwise your work is quality. Good job.

Thanks for watching. My biggest problem is being quick and portable. I usually only bring 1 light and leave my slider to save time and space. That's why the edelkrone slider looked like a good buy... But I've been watching reviews and for the price other sliders look a lot smoother. Would someone recommend a better slider or is this good enough with it's portability? And I have a manfrotto tripod that is small so I can run around with it at live events, and it has the 701 head which had been smooth for all my shots that aren't on a zoom lens

I'm bumping this rather than start a new thread on the same topic.

Thanks
