: )

FileZilla here. http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

Simple to use, and a great piece of software. There's even a "portable" version you can run directly off a USB drive or what have you without installing, at www.portableapps.com

ftp that came with your OS doesn't work?

I've used SmartFTP for years for web design, uploading clips, shorts, etc. Never a problem. I use Fetch with my Mac... it isn't free, but I don't think it was much... $40 maybe, I don't remember. Both are great.

If you are using Firefox, FireFTP works right in the browser as a plugin! amazing!

Just a general use program, or for loading to a personal site? If for your own stuff, WinSCP is nicer than FTP and most sites should support it. It also does SFTP, if you like to keep your passwords and such secure.

Free, of course.

Note: even if not for your own stuff, most places should support SFTP and SCP. If they don't, they're naughty people.

Good question. I have been using a trial version that expired. Let's just say, it's performance was less then good.
