what format to xport and the right way

i know this question been asked million time here , one more time wont hurt
ok im working wth cs4 premiere (mxf file) and i want ot export it so i can do some fx , clean the footage(neatvideo), and color correction
so what format and the order should i export the footage to preserve the best quality everytime
