What flick have you watched the most?

I can honestly say I don't like any of the Friday the 13th films. And that isn't some off base pretentious statement. I have actually seen all of them. When I was 12 I was obsessed with the series. I rewatched all of them years later and changed my mind.

I love Jason goes to Hell!!!! Especially the last frame.

Part 8 is garbage. And not good garbage.

8 is garbage (I still like to watch it sometimes though) and I think goes to hell is crap too. It started out pretty good and then they blow him up and he goes into other bodies. No thanks. I want to see Jason. I appreciate the originality and the effort to bring something fresh to the dying series but I just wanted to see more Jason. The scenes he is in kick ass though (minus the slithering around thing that goes up that girls snatch and turns into him).

I don't have the attention span for how predictable, unorginal and safe most movies are so for me to sit through a movie more than once is phenomenal... so hear goes.

Matrix Reloaded - 3 times - I would have watched it more but Matrix Revolutions was such a let down metaphysically that I gave up on the series.

Code 46 - 3 times - absolutely beautiful cinematography, good spin on a sci-fi film

Matrix - 2 times

What the Bleep Do We Know - 2 times

Pulp Fiction - 2 times

The Princess Bride - 2 times

Edit: How could I forget Ace Ventura 2 - 2 times, Includes the most quotable Jim Carey line in my book: "Excuse me your balls are showing."

Movies that I plan on watching again 'cause I think they are awesome and have a lot to offer:
Punch Drunk Love, Gosford Park, Crash, Eternal Sunshine, City of God and Soul Plane.

(j/k about Soul Plane )

Rounders, Happy Gilmore, Waterboy, Boiler Room, and Star Wars, I've easily seen all of those films around 50 times each. Rounders- I watched every time I played poker with friends, and I used to play all the time. That's a film I can quote from start to finish.

Lately, I've been watching V for Vendetta and Night Watch a lot.

I think we all know they're shite but they do hold a space in my cinefile; whether due to seeing a a kid or just exisitinbg as camp.

Without Jason, we have no SCREAM

What did you think of Havana?

LOL.

Crossroads.

I'm kind of embarrassed to say this but...I think I must have watched Ralph Macchio's (Eugene Martoni) duel with the Devil's boy, Jack Butler (Steve Vai) close to a thousand times. "You better hush, hush, hush, hush, somebodies calling your name, singing O my Lord, O my Lord what shall I do, what shall I do.

Ry Cooder on slide Vs Steve Vai on the axe. Ya gotta love that sh#t.

Most watched? Mulholland Drive, Close to Eden, Metropolis, Bullworth, "Slochkom Parum" (Steam from the Shower, a Russian New-Years tradition), Yawar Mallku, I'm sure I'm forgetting some, don't kick me for "Big Trouble"!

2. Not an outrageous number of times for any of 'em....

1 - First Blood (30+)
2 - Underworld Evolution (2-3)

Others I have watched countless times..
-Fast Times At Ridgemont High
-Other Peoples Money

Tons of others multiple times, but not as many as the ones above (with the exception of Underworld)

Last movie watched
-The Island (got it and Platoon at Fry's last week)

several hundred times each? that would mean you'd have to watch each of them once a week for a decade. really?
Yup. I used to play Blade Runner and Apocalypse Now over and over and over again, from VHS tapes that I videotaped from pay cable in the early and mid-eighties. I often play 2001 over and over again (one of the few DVDs that doesn't revert back to a menu after it ends) as a sort of video wallpaper, and to go to sleep to. Yes, I've been viewing these three films over and over for well over 20 years now.

I think you mean without Michael Myers there'd be no Scream, as Fthe13th is Halloween knock off and Halloween was even featured in Scream, not Jason or Mrs. Vorhees.
