I am working on a Follow Focus device and would like some feedback as to what is important to you.
Do you want the ability to set 2 Focus presets and have it rack between them with possible control over the speed of the rack?
As it stands the non-macro focus range is from 50 to 93, which is 43 "focus units"
Is it worth having a smaller device that delivers less than 43 Focus Units?
How many Focus Units would be the minimum you would need? FYI FU50 is about 3ft and FU93 is Infinity with no lens attachments.
Would mounting this to where the shotgun mic mounting spot is on the handle work or would you rather pay more for a version that mounted to rails?
How long of a cord would you like the remote focus to have?
Thanks for your input. I will post when I get close to finishing the prototype.
