Hey all, I am having some issues with my 24pa project. When I export it to DVD it looks terrible. Titles look like crap, diagnol straight edges look like a staircase. And the nice 24p video footage just over all looks like crap.

The project was created in a 24p timeline, and exported to DVD with the 29.97 setting. Should I export to DVD with the 23.97 setting?

Thx

Footage was shot with DVX 100b 24Pa
PPRo 2.0 Editing Software.

Just taking a stab here. How exactly did you export it to DVD (what software did you use)?

With the 24p footage in the 24p timeline in PPro 2.0, how does the footage look when going forward one frame at a time? Do you see interlacing artifacts every 4 or 5 frames? (these are what I assume you mean by edges that look like "a staircase")

If this is the case, right-click on your footage file in the project window, select "interpret footage", and experiment with removing the pulldown. The goal is to use the frame rate of 23.976 fps. Then go forward again one frame at a time and see if there's any improvement.
