What effect/plug-in is this?

There is a tutorial out there for that exact thing. Basically, you have all your shapes defined beforehand, but you make sure the stroke start or end duration is set to infinite, or something of that order. That way, it continues to draw, and the beginning never catches up.


Andrew Kramer may have a couple on this.


That was a pretty good video, but the best part was the one you mentioned. The rest was way over the top, and was very distracting from the source material. They should have toned it down just a notch, easy to do when you can achieve that caliber of work, and let some of the images and videos stand a little more on their own.

I'm all for eye candy, but that thing damn near gave me sezuires. It's great reel, it was just too much of a kind of "look what we can do" instead of a "let us enhance your footage or created something more like this . . ."

Just my opinion. If I watch it in sections it looks great. All at once, there is just too much going on. Great video, but's a little overhwhelming. Not something I would show a client, they would have a hard time taking it all in.. great reel for those of us who use AE for a living, lots of great stuff.

Kai has about the best demo reel (so doe oneinifiteloop), but their work is not nearly in you fact as this is.

That makes a difference. Great work, and I'm not bashing them. It was all just too much too fast for me.
