What effect has been uses in chapter DVX vs. Film

Hello,

I received my DVX Video/Book today. Very helpfull!
While I saw the video a question came up.
In the chapter "DVX vs. Film" a nice woman is talking about "..with a little tweaking in post the look comes even closer...". You can see a young man smiling into the camera while a Post effect makes this scene more film like.
So guess what my question is...
Yes, what kind of effect has been used in this scene?

Barry or someone else can tell me?
I'm sure someone already came up with this question, but I was not able to find anything on the board.

I just used the color correction and film effects in Sony Vegas 5.0 editing software to try to match what the film footage looked like. A little grain, a little color/contrast adjustment, that's about all it needed.

Thank's a lot! I tried it with Premiere and Matrox RT.X100 and it works fine too.
