What editing program ?

FCP for the win.

AVID's interface needs to be burned... and dragged behind a bus for a long time.

I believe you say that because you can't drag & drop in the timeline and because the tracks are locked contrary to all other NLEs.

AVID doesn't need an interface just a keyboard.

And I haven't seen an other NLE that can do 3 and 4 point edits so naturally. It really gives you the easiness to focus on the INs and OUTs.

true enough I suppose.

But I find using AVID very counter intuitive. I use a combo of mouse n keyboard when I edit.. and I don't edit the same way all the time. This is one reason I love FCP.. there are so many ways to do one thing...

I also just don't use AVID enough to really find my own work flow.

I love Avid for the reasons Steve mentioned. I find I can edit so much quicker w/Avid... using just the keyboard.
