What does everyone think of the AC7?

I'm looking to buy my first on camera monitor, and while it's more than I was wanting to spend, the AC7 has really caught my eye. As some background, I mostly shoot on a 5D but would like whatever I buy to be future proofed, as I plan on the next camera I purchase to have SDI out. Most of my work right now is doing web video (generally a crew of about 3 people and the client, if I'm really lucky I'll have an AC). Is the AC7 more monitor than I need? And if so, what's a better mid range option? Also, I've seen smallhd's materials, but in a real world setting, how much of a difference does the oled version make over the LCD?

You will have to weigh the options. Is $1500 too much for your budget? Can you really take advantage of it's features using the 5DmkII? How long till you upgrade to a camera with SDI, will something better/cheaper come along before your next camera purchase making this monitor obsolete?

Sorry, I didn't specify, it's actually a MKiii. And realistically? I'll probably be shooting on it for at least another year, but that also doesn't mean I won't be renting a scarlet or f3 before then.
