What do you think of the acting

Kevin, your lead male seemed a bit not into character to me. Almost distracted occasionally. I really didn't believe him.

I have other issues, but, not asked for.
Storyline (The jump to the actor responding online was too sudden, no set-up)
Music (using copyrighted material is not a good idea)
Editing (a couple of the expression inserts were either un-necessary or not long enough, several scene cuts seemed hasty, like you were pushing the film.)

But on the other hand, I was intrigued enough to continue watching. That is a plus in any book. The idea is a good one. Maybe a bit more intensity on the lead's part. His expressions were good, but I didn't hear what needed to match that.

Your framing was nice as were the actual shots. What did you shoot this on? I really like the juxtaposition of color and B/W. Adds a bit of "panache" and impact.

Just my opinion, and now that I have gave my input, maybe others will chime in. If anything to tell me I am full of sh*t. LOL.

Doc thank you so much for your input on My Cousin's Cousin! I sincerely appreciate you watching and your critique. I shot the film on a Canon T1i DSLR, everything you have mentioned I will explore with my next production.

The actors seemed to try too hard to convince us instead of letting the words do it for them. For instance, the lead male tends to try for the comedy instead of letting it happen by saying the lines like he means them sincerely. The lead female is a stunner but in the 'stalking montage' her expressions are a over the top. And why does our male lead look like a molester the way he is following her? Too many parts of the acting style are over the top and now and then bordered on cartoons of people.

The story line is fine and has a nice twist on the end. I just felt the acting was forced. I am just commenting on the acting because you did ask for opinions. This is just mine and I hope it did not offend you.

Acting is to come naturally by showing the talent that should not known to other person that this man is acting. Even the thief act well in front of the cop and everyone has their own talent but they feel difficult to get it out. On seeing the video i feel that the person is trying very hard but not showing his nature of act.
