What do you suppose this person wants?

Weird... at school we have technicians (they teach us the technical aspects of film or video in our labs) one of which runs the studio... perhaps that's what she's referring to? Maybe that's what they call the technicians at her school, a studio teacher...

If so, that's kind of cheap to hire a technical teacher for her final film. She should have learned these things on her own and applied them. That's what learning is all about. That's why it's school...

I always thought that they were the teachers for the kids working on a film. Maybe between the setups they teach maths.... or maybe they are like voice coaches or something like that.

A studio teacher is an educator / caregiver who fulfills state-mandated child welfare and education requirements for children working on a film or TV set. They are IATSE AFL-CIO affiliated tradespeople who are strictly regulated by the Dept. of Labor.

These people will, in addition to interfacing with the child's regular school teacher and curriculum, act as a liaison between the child and production itself. The kid's agent isn't a babysitter, so this person effectively helps keep the child safe, monitors and enforces the number of hours they work and so on.
