I'm curious about what you all feel the differences are (if any) between different terms used to describe the standard "interview" shot, for example, in a corporate video where there is one person on screen speaking with some B-roll laid on top. Some of the terms I've heard are "talking heads," "interviews," "stand-ups," "one-offs," and "host shots." I'm sure there are more terms out there. Are there differences between these terms? Is it more appropriate to use one over another for different situations?
