Hi, I'm looking for some info on a light wall like this, do you know if there is any professional name for it? I googled it again and again but can't find any decent pictures. I don't think i can afford getting one for a video i'm going to shoot, but i've got some after effects skills...

I'm pretty sure that picture is composited, but it's just a wall of lights. It probably has a fancy name, but that's what it is.

If you want to make one, you need to build a grid as big as you want the wall to be with vertical cross beams spaced evenly apart as far as you want the lights to be apart. Then you need to get a lot of open faced lights, you may be able to find some cheap ones at Home Depot, and wire them up onto the grid.

You just have to be careful when you light it up. I wouldn't plug it into your house sockets, you'd probably need to get a generator depending on how much wattage you're using up.

Besides the fact that the image is fake... It looks like just a bunch of fresnel lenses with one big light source behind them all.

Your image looks like a "wendylight', which is the official name for it.

It's basically 196 PAR lights assembled onto a frame. Incidentally it was invented by David Watkins BSC.
