what do the letters after DVX100B stand for?

Anyone know what the letters after the B in DVX100B stand for?
I got my DVX last week. I receved a DVX100BP followed by a S in a box.
I want to make sure I will be able to use the rebate on the model I got
and also that it's not a "PAL" model.

On the rebate website, use the model number and serial number from the camera and not from the box. (advice by Panasonic rep) The 's' is not present on the camera's model, and the 'r' in the serial number should be dropped regardless of being from the camera or the box.

Talking about rebate, I got my camera about a month back and applied for the rebate online. How much time does it take for the rebate check to show up?
