What did you do this Labor Day Weekend?

All weekend I procrastinated packing for college move-in, so Sunday night I started to get ready.

Monday morning, bright and early, we left for school. I got all moved in, and I'm still remembering stuff I forgot.

A friend of mine forgot his pillows and tv remote, so I suppose he's worse off than me.
 
Spent my weekend with the family and thanking god that I didn't live in New Orleans

Also spent a visit to inspect my new home being built.
 
Hmmm... Saturday I worked on client projects, went out to eat, and laid back with my ladies (wife and daughter, but I still can sound like i'm down by calling em that).

Sunday, hit the church, then client projects until the wee hours of the night

Monday, Client projects in the AM, shopping with my ladies in the afternoon (plus I got to sneak in a visit to the gun store).
 
Just wondering..how many of you here are all over the age of 25 and have kids/wives? Not that its a bad thing...i was just curious.

I was at Dragon*Con all weekend. Anyone else make it to the biggest convention in the Southeast?

Forgot to add, that I almost got attacked by a very agressive Coyote....I shot it all on tape including my girlie scream.

He was hunting me pretty hard, never seen one so aggresive.

I'll post the vid once things quiet down for me....its worth a laugh.

DOn't they all...

My wife has three children. I'm one of them.

Friday...shot the crapy excuse for a Zombie film (half of it if I am lucky).

Saturday... taxicabbed my daughter, slept off the night of filming, logged some footage, cursed at the computer, watched Rainman.

Sunday... returned our RV back to the dealer who rents it out. Went for a Sunday drive through the country, had coffee and icecream, bitched about humanity, did some pickups for Zombiefest after dark.

Monday... had a long breakfast, went to Army surplus in Chinatown to get a parachute ...err, difusion silk. Enjoyed watching downtown scenes, short skirts and tight T-shirts. Taxicabbed my daughter. Cursed at the computer some more. Installed a hard drive, updated Vegas, logged more footage, attempted to edit, found incompetent, went to bed.

Enventful but happy.
 
Saturday - Organized a School Clean-up Program and had 20 students clean-up all the trash at a local government school (it looked like a landfill). It's amazing what you can do when you've got 40 hyperactive hands picking up trash.

Sunday - Sat on butt and did nothing.

Monday - Sat on butt, taught one hour of English, and did even more nothing.

To sum-up, 2-3 hours of productivity and 70 hours of laziness. Yo Joe!!! :thumbsup:

..saturday- worked on project, mostly AE stuffs

..sunday- had to miss church to drive out to my cousins baby daughters dedication party thingy, and hung out there with family - lots o good food on the grill

..monday- worked on project more.. had to skip going out to another grill out with family and such with my family cause i had to spend more hours staring at keyframes to get something done on time :(


..over 25 and married with 2 little girls. and yeah.. its a very ..very good thing. I wouldnt trade it for the world :)
