I recently shot a "video abstract" of a faculty member at a university. It is essentially a talking head of the doctor speaking the abstract of an article she and another physician co-wrote. The written article will be published in a peer reviewed journal and they offered to have her provide a video abstract.
My question is: What credit do I give myself?
Here's what I did:
Selected the location, selected and set up the background, selected and set up lighting, shot the video, shot additional footage in a clinic room with the physician and a researcher playing a patient, incorporated stills into the video, edited the video, cleaned up the audio, wrote a score, and packaged the thing with a simple title and lower third caption of the physician/author.
Basically, I was a one-man band for this 4 minute, 20 second video.
The physician wants me to have a credit at the end of the file she sends to the journal. I'm proud of the work I did, but I don't know what to say on the end credit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
