Why do you want to know, might help? Choosing a camera from a fuzzy picture is worse than ordering an untested camera based off specs alone. What you want to do with it? Might lead to a better response and maybe more appropriate suggestions you haven't considered.
I am searching for a camera for a short documentary. I've seen some were using it few months ago and never get around to ask about it. Then found a photo of it.
I am searching something like this ($3000) or less, any suggestions please?

Hahaha nice way to start a "what camera for doc should I buy" thread.
I do agree with you that for 3k you will need an "all in one" type of camera. If not, you can look for a used AF100/FS100 package or maybe a DSLR, but that needs lots of extra stuff to make it work as a docu camera and will probably surpass the 3k mark you have set for your self...
And if you want help in choosing a camera, give us more detail about the type of films you'll be doing.
