What brand hard drive is best for SATA array?

I am getting ready for the final touches on my G5 quad. I am putting a 4 drive internal SATA array together made of 4-500GB drives. I was wondering if anyone has preferences for various brands of hard drives. I have used Hitachi Deskstar drives before and had good luck with them.

I am of course looking for the quietest, coolest running, longest lasting drives I can find.

can never go wrong w/ the hitachi's and seagates. maxtor has had a bad rap in the past as far as unreliaibility, but i've read their 16mb cache drives are pretty good performers.

I found a Seagate 500gb 16mb buffer for 512 at Memorylabs for $312. My 2.25TB array would look like this:

4- 500GB Sata drives $1248.
Sonnet Tempo 4X4 card $175.
Sonnet G5 Jive 3 drive internal drive holder $80.

Excluding my system drive I would be adding 2TB of internal drive capacity for $1503.

Is there any drawbacks to having all these drives in the computer?
