What audio codec is export when exporting H.264 and MPEG2

I want to export a copy of my movie out of Premiere with the vidoe at 1080p/H.264, and the sound at 96 khz. But when I click to 96 khz, the video quality goes from 1080p to 720p. And I can't seem to find a way to export it at 1080p with 96 khz. If I try clicking HDTV 1080p, it then puts the sound down to 48 khz. What do I do? Thanks.

I don't understand the problem. I just selected H264 and can choose any audio setting (incl 96khz) and it makes no difference to the video size (as I suspected).

Perhaps you need to stray a little outside of the presets and make your own? It's trivial to do!

Well I keep trying but if I click on the 96 selection, the video automatically switches from 1080p to 720p.

Ah, you do need to select AAC+ Version 1 to get 96Khz Jim.

Here is H264, 1920x1080 96Khz.
