What aspect ratio is this??

Regardless of how you feel about the music, director Bernard Gourley has been making some nice organic looking videos lately. i was wondering what the aspect ratio is that he is using. can anyone help me?

how was it achieved? cropping and stretching or just advanced shot planning and cropping. any insight?

The only way you can do it is to crop. There's no lens which will stretch that wide.

Personally, I think it's a waste of screen space to go that wide. You get tiny little figures made up of only a few pixels of detail.

i half way agree david, but i like the look for whatever reason. thanks for your help. i just got my anamorphic adapter so imma get to work.
