I'm buying Epic 1 fairly soon and I'm considering Magic Bullet Looks. What other ones are out there (free/paid)?

New Blue FX ab Boris Continuum Complete 7 are the best plugin packs for Vegas right now imo. Be aware that Magic Bullet only works on the 32bit version of Vegas, there's no support for the 64bit versions.

That White Balance plugin does look good - but for Vegas 10 only :( maybe i should upgrade after all...

Yes it's very good. Vegas 10c works for meon Windows 7 (64 bit) but I know some people have been havingproblems with it although I get the feeling that this might be down to the horsepower of their perticular computers.

Hope you haven't been affected by the earthquake. Christchurch is such a lovely city./ It's so sad to see the damage done and tragic to think of the loss of life and the injuries

.Good Luck,

Richard

Thanks for the sympathy - happily I'm in Wellington, far from Christchurch (although we're on an earthquake faultline too...) The quake has even affected film making over here - our local 48 Hour film making event http://www.v48hours.co.nz/2011/ is offering free entry to Christchurch teams.

I'm not sure that MBL supports clips over 1080p, make sure you try a trial version first on your footage. I was going to suggest the free Aav6cc plugin too, but that one also has such a limitation.
