I want to thank everyone here in the forum. Because of your sage advice I ordered the Oktava hyper from sound-room and the BBG. I just checked it out recording through my Oxny 400F. I do have better mics for recording in controlled settings - for example the Rode K2 - however, the Oktava is truly an outstanding value for the money!
