Check out this text file from 1993. Its the Do's and Dont's of BBS ettiquette. And for those who are too young to know what a BBS was, I think its safe to say this. The age of BBSing is to today's internet what the horse and buggy was to the car.

Not sure if the file name is going to go over well around here, but it stands for F'd Up College Kids. The site is clean, so far as I've seen. If you change the sequential number in the file name, you get the next page of these prehistoric blog entries. Its all text.

I REMEMBER THE GOOD OLD DAYS, they were great.

AFAIK, IMNSHO, TTBOMK, it's all over, but WTF.
BTW, FWIW, it was a real PITA.

Well TTFN it's been PFM.

You know, I actually ran a BBS on a commie 64 back in the day. Maybe that is why I find this thing so funny. I ran two pc's, one so I could dial out and one for others to dial in. And the worst thing in the world was for someone to dial you up and then try to dl a bunch of stuff at 300 baud. You were flying if you were "high speed" at 2400!!! :)

Can you imagine just one person being able to get on here at a time? Hudson would be a wanted man. How many chat requests to the sysop would be ignored? hahaha!!!! Forget dl'ing files.... ha!
