I have the HP laptop, using Vegas Pro 8 with Raylight and will be using the 1TB Lacie hard drive as a storage unit for my footage.
When my P2 card is filled I will download it onto my Hp Laptop. Than I will make a copy of the footage and down-load it onto the 320GB Intense blue passport (by Western Digital Tech) as my back up just in case the Laptop goes down. When I get back to home base I will than transfer my footage onto the 1TB Lacie.
Has anyone used or know anything about the Blue Passport External hard drive? I know I won't have to plug it into any elec - just plug it into the laptop and it runs off the laptop battery.
