Well, the DVX is in the shop

Poor poor DVX is getting the lens replaced because of a little broken screw hole being split. What the hell am I going to do over the next week and a half?!?!?!?!?!
 
Go make some music! I had to send mine out once as well. Back focus problems and that was in the shop for almost amonth. Didn't bother me because we had and extra DVX. Hey, you can always shoot with a sony Hi8. I heard if you uprezzed that it will look film like. :)
 
I'm still partial to my full size Panasonic 1CCD VHS recorder from 1985. It pwnz!! The colors are so rich and bleeding it hurts!! I bet it would make great slasher flicks!!

My camera was in the shop for 2.5 months. That really, really sucked. 'The Electronic Shop' in Texas was the authorized repair center, I will never deal with them again.

Something is out of whack.

You have 942 posts on this board, and no raw footage around that needs editing? When you get your cam back, go out and shoot 10 or 20 hours of tape ebefore you do any more posting!
