Weisscam T1 2/3" RAW, is this a new camera ?

On their PDF they have three sensor types: 2/3" @1080, S16 @2.2k, and S35 @4k... All with 1-340/350 fps. Looks pretty sweet and it has global shutter too. Definitely interested to see the price.

Last November-ish I had asked one of the guys from Weisscam who has an account here on DVX User and I think I remember him says it would be in the $20-30k range (closer to $30k I think) but that was when there was just one camera/sensor. It might be different now so don't take what I said as 100% fact.

oh ok...so i'll go with the Blackmagic thingie then :)) though 300+ fps is nice and the cameras they make look bulletproof.

The weisscam would be rental only for most people, but no doubt built like a tank. They build one at a time and charge accordingly.

This was mentioned in this month's American Cinematographer. It states there that this camera is intended to allow a lot of flexibility and a long life-cycle by allowing interchangeable sensors. I'm curious if the interchangeable sensor can be swapped by the user, like swapping out your CPU. Would be neat to switch between a S35 and ENG based sensor on the fly.
