Weirdest intercutting you've seen?

So I'm watching Killing Zoe and they're intercutting Nosferatu with a love scene. Damn.

The end of Munich had Eric Bana banging his wife, intercut with scenes of violence that I found out of place with the rest of the film.

not the weirdest, but definitely the most groan inducing... director's cut (bootleg) of Hard Target... John Woo intercut bad guy Lance Hendrickson playing the piano with some stock footage of Lions attacking and devouring their bloody prey.

Thin-Red Line. There are alot of scenes in that movie that I don't like but the one that sticks out is when they are attacking a hill and they keep intercutting between the attack and a baby bird dying or drinking water. Horrible to watch in my opnion.

I agree that the Thin Red Line has some strange cuts, but I think they work to the intense poetic beauty of the film.

Of course, that particular film tends to engender very polar reactions.
