Weirdest FCP problem, ever!

Hi! I'm trying to edit some old material... some film we made at college... but I'm having this weird problem... some scenes the images are full, and some scenes are not!!
Exactly same camera! JVC HD100, same settings, 16:9 always... I asked everybody about this and nobody could resolve... even to professional editors. Maybe something with the capture? I have no idea where those tapes are... this is the RAW material I have here.

Thanks!

Ahhhhh that's exactly the Scale thing on the motion tab!

the full clip is 266.67 and the non full is 225

What is the correct number for this? or I just match the non full clip in the size of the full clip?

Thanks a lot!!

Could you enable image-wireframe controls in the canvas and see if they have motion attributes/scale set?

Also what happens when you open the clip in Quicktime? Ctrl-Click -> Open in Editor for the non-full clips, are they letterboxed?

This looks like standard DV and looks like 1 and 3 are not letter boxed while 2 and 4 are..
Thereby you're getting the postage stamp effect.

I enabled this and now the scale is different...something like 177 for the full image and something like 150 for the non full image...

When I export to quicktime, the non full image is letterboxed, yes

Yeah, just realized that my material is in DV... and I'm certain that we recorded in HDV 24P, so, the person who captured this maybe messed up...
