Weird spots on the bottom of my new camera

Hi,

Sorry to take up space with this message but I'm freaking out over a DVX100A I just purchased.

I open the box and notice strange circular marks on the bottom of my camera near the tripod screws. Their not indented but more raised. Is this just a manufacturing issue or could the camera have been refurbished?

Any insight?
