Weird Slow Motion problem when upgrading from FCP 5 to 7

Hey I just upgraded my FCP 5 to 7 and I'm using the same project I was using in FCP 5. I don't understand what's wrong because in the old version all my slowmotion was very smooth and crisp, but now in the new version all the clips that were in slowmotion are very choppy and not smooth at all. Does anyone know why this is happening? It's really confusing me and I know I can't just downgrade back to the old version because the file is now in FCP 7 format :( All help is greatly appreciated.

The sequence presets are the same as they were in the old file, "Apple Intermediate Codec 1080i60"
My system specs are:
Mac OS X Version 10.6.2
Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz
4GB of Ram
 
nvm I figured it out...in fcp 7 it puts green above slow motion clips for preview and I had to check to render the previews under the rendering tab, in 5 it would just put red above the clips and make you render them...sry for wasting a thread :(
