Weird Problem...

[Robbie Comeau]

Lately, when ever I go into FCP, I get a stupid file in my trash can.

It JUST started doing this not to long ago, but I didn't make any changes with my preferences.

The file in the trash is dated a while ago (2003) and it says:

Video.fcp_02-13-07_2003

So I delete it, and carry on.

I close FCP, go back in and then another, different file will pop up.

Anything?

Thanks!

Robbie

They are auto saves.

You've set your prefs to only keep so many, and when it hits the limit, the oldest one goes into your trash.

So how can I not do this?

So is it ok to delete these out of the trash?

If you have saved your project and don't need an earlier saved version, then yes.

Robbie, you can change those settings in the user preferences in fcp.
