Weird color problem...

When I'm capturing video using premier, the image displayed in the capture window looks like the brightness is turned all the way up. The colors are very weird. I tried viewing it in Windows Movie Maker capture dialog and it looks the same too

If I capture a few seconds in premier and then watch the AVI file, it looks fine, perfectly clear and all.

Any ideas about what I should do? Are there general 1394 settings that might affect why its playing back like this?

it looks similar to this, which I simulated since you can't "print screen" DV preview boxes.

oh thank god. i fixed it. it was a setting that needed to be restored to default in my nvidia control panel. wshew
