I'm using Vegas 6 and DVDA 3 to make a DVD. I render to MPEG and AC-3 respectively and burn the DVD from DVDA. Playing the DVD (Magnavox -R media) on one DVD player results in certain audio segments (specifically audio collected with a wireless mic) to have very low volume. The added music and sound effects on a different audio track have no problem with the audio. I did some research and changed the settings on my AC-3 rendering hoping that would solve the problem and still no luck. I also placed some of the spoken audio on the same track as the music and it still came out cruddy while the music was fine.
On a whim, I tried the DVD on two other players and the audio worked fine on both of those players. Any idea what I should do? I have to burn about 30 of these DVD's and I would hate to have some work and some not work.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
