Weight Limit for DVX Shoe?

I am curious if any one has had issue with putting too much weight on the cold shoe of the DVX. I have not had any problems... I am currently using a Rode NT4 mic on the shoe, with a shock mount, and related bits... The whole set-up weighs in at 2.5 lbs. I have had to put some rather "hefty" LCD's on the shoe, which came to almost 3.5 lbs with all the bracketry... I was curious if any one knows where to draw the line?

thanks,

I am going to venture to guess that the shoe can hold quite a bit of weight. My friend put an lcd monitor on his shoe, and on top of the monitor, clipped 2 ghetto clip-on lights... AND a notebook clip (the kind for pc monitors that lets you hang sheets of paper off it to take notes), with a 30 page script. It was a very weird setup, but the dvx held it like a champ.
