Weekend Box Office

I sit and am in constant amazment at the Box Office Charts and here are my random thoughts:

Four Brothers looks like one of those 'Not great / Not Bad' films. Pulls in $20,000,000; half way to it's budget in 3 Days.

Sigh; the Skeleton Key does $16,000,000. Another PG-13 'Horror Film'. Can we come up with a new name for these wannabe Horror Films please? Anyone?

The Dukes of Hazzard has grossed $58,000,000 to Date. I will not even Rent This much less imagine paying $12.00 at the theatre. Who are these people that are sitting there eating pop-corn and liking it? White Bread America, that's who.

Wedding Crashers is stll trippin and well on the way to $200,000,000 easily. I love Willson and Vaughn. I'll rent this definately.

Here's a shocker:

Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo

Not only did it gross $9,000,000 but they actually spent $22,000,000 on the budget. I don't know what's more surprising about that statement? You couldn't pay me to watch this film.

Oh come on... the first film rocked!!

I expected it to be sooooooooo bad and when it was "okay" it seemed incredible.

Watch it drunk, that helps too.

I expected the sequel to go the way of the "It's Pat" movie and make a cool $60,000. I guess I was way off on this one.
