I have an Canon HF S10, which is a very nice little camera with good lightings...and NEX-5, which when permitted I might take a few stills to include into my highlight videos...Both are old and has new models now, but they make good videos, although not so very compatible with the HMC, but that's better than none, I think.
To me, both photo and video has different significant to a wedding. If the marrying couple would sing a song, have a first dance, make a great entrance, etc.. There's no way a photo can preserve that memory as well as a video.
